I. Gospel Truths: Eternal life, Discipleship, Rewards, and the Coming Kingdom
Have you ever been told that you (or someone you love) might not be “truly saved,” because of sin? If you have wondered whether that could be true, then you will be blessed by this sermon series. Modern Christianity has blurred the line between the free gift of eternal life and the costly call to discipleship, and in doing so, has left believers unsure of their eternal destiny.
We need to return to the clear promise of our Lord Jesus: everlasting life is a free gift, received by faith alone, based entirely on His finished work on Calvary.
Yes, we live for Him because we love Him. Indeed, believers are called to walk worthy, to abide in Christ, to bear good fruit, and serve Him faithfully. But when we fail, and even if we walk away from the faith, we are not jeopardizing our eternal security; we are jeopardizing fellowship, usefulness, and the hope of rewards in His eternal kingdom.
At Included in Christ, we will always teach both truths clearly: eternal life is a free gift, and our daily goal is to walk worthy in anticipation of His coming kingdom.

Practicing Righteousness: View or download the sermon handout here. There are two kinds of righteousness in Scripture. We all know that amazing imputed righteousness of our Lord Jesus, by which we have access to the Father. What a glorious thing! There is another righteousness that we can achieve in our day to day lives if we allow the Holy Spirit to work through us and guide us in every aspect of life. I John 2:29 has this beautiful phrase, “everyone who practices righteousness..” Cristy expounds on this in her fearless sermon, tackling some difficult texts along the way. This timeless sermon was originally preached in 2023 in New York City.
Stewardship (Spirit, Soul, and Body): View or download the sermon handout here. Cristy has brought a powerful message of stewardship, involving spirit, soul, and body. In the message (and handout), you’ll find practical daily guidelines to keep yourself in a place that honors the Lord Jesus and His will for your life. One day, in the not too distant future, we’ll stand before the presence of His glory. Our goal is that He presents us blameless. Wow. Don’t miss this message!
Blessed to Suffer: View or download the sermon handout here. In this message, Cristy reveals what Scripture says about suffering and the blessings in store for those who suffer according to the will of God. And the eternal rewards for suffering honorably are truly breathtaking!
Glory through Suffering for His Co-Heirs (Blessed to Suffer pt 2 of 2): In this message, Cristy reveals from Scripture some of the magnificent and glorious rewards awaiting those who suffer faithfully in Christ Jesus. This is part two of a two-part series titled, Blessed to Suffer. This sermon was originally preached in 2024 in New York City.
Good Hope by Grace: In this message, Cristy dives deep into the idea of “hope” in Scripture. You’ll understand “good hope by His grace.” That’s a promise that one day we’ll receive the commendation, the rewards, the crowns, the invitations, the positions of authority in the coming Kingdom. And you understand that hope realized will be the day when we stand before the King and He says, “well done, thou good and faithful servant.” This message was originally delivered in 2024 in Rockaway Beach, New York City.
Examine Yourself: View or download the sermon handout here. In this message, we will learn that maturity in the faith comes by examining oneself, and that’s not a matter of determining if one is saved. Cristy will shine a light on problems with common misinterpretations of these Scriptures. If we learn to do this, to examine ourselves daily, we will one day stand before our righteous Judge, unashamed!
The Salvation of Your Soul – That’s the Goal: When we studied I Peter, we defined “the salvation of the soul” like this: the victorious perseverance of faith in Christ through the trials of life that bring about the rewards of the inheritance on the other side of eternity. The salvation of your soul is literally, being presented faultless before the presence of His glory. That’s the salvation of your soul, and that’s our goal! This timeless sermon was originally preached in 2024 in New York City.
One Spirit with Him: View or download the sermon handout here. We hold God’s word as the highest authority in our lives. We are a gay Christian affirming ministry. This sermon begins with an incredibly important statement about the moral integrity that the Scripture demands. We hold that sexual relations are appropriate only within Christ-centered, monogamous, convenant marriage. This message answers these two important questions:
How do we reign in life now in anticipation of reigning with Christ in eternity?
How do we participate in the work of God from the heavenlies?

Diligence: a Precious Possession: Proverbs 12:27: …diligence is man’s precious possession. A faithless, tired, lazy Christian is still a believer, and will be in the eternal kingdom of God. But it takes diligence to be faithful, energetic, and fervent in the faith. Let’s compare two different way of living this Christian life. The difference is diligence. This sermon was preached in 2024 in NYC and received rave reviews!
The Ubiquitous Doctrine of Rewards: The doctrine of rewards on the other side of eternity is a theme that is blatantly displayed all throughout Scripture. It is indeed, ubiquitous. We need to understand the Gospel: Salvation is free. You don’t work for salvation. But God chooses to give breathtaking rewards on the other side of eternity for those who live faithful, Christian lives. Let’s talk about that in detail! This timeless sermon was originally preached in 2024 in New York City.
